A holiday playlist -- not so soft | 我的播放清單

Happy holidays to everyone. It’s back to work here at [alive not dead], but in the meanwhile, I wanted to encourage everyone here in Hong Kong to come to our first [alive not dead] public event, a DJ showcase featuring DJ Beware, DJ TKO, and DJ Kid Fresh. This is NOT your namby-pamby playing “light house music“ or the same crappy “Usher” music kind-of-event. It’s real DJs who are skilled at their craft and who are going to show off some real turntable skills. I especially want to give a shout-out to [alive not dead] artist and friend CutmasterTKO who’s scratching skills are ably displayed in the video below.

In the meanwhile, I also wanted to share my holiday music playlist – the theme of this playlist is “the transformative power of music” because I really believe that STRONG, HEARTFELT music can actually change your outlook. There’s a bit of power-rock, old classics, and new classics mixed in the list below, but let me know if any of the songs are also on your playlists.
