Hey guys, I want to introduce you to a really promising new director that we’re lucky enough to have featured here on [alive not dead], Derek Tsang. Some of you might know Derek from his acting work on movies like Dragon Boys (with fellow AnD artists Byron Mann and Steph Song, and his illustrious father, Eric Tsang) and Single Blog (with fellow AnD artists Andrew Lin and Hiro Hayama). I saw Derek’s latest short film about two months ago and was really floored It’s a brief, simply told story – but as film critic Roger Ebert often says, it’s not the story that your telling that’s important, it’s HOW you tell it.
