Two very different concerts | 两个不一眼的夜场会

I wanted to talk about two concerts that I attended here in Hong Kong not so recently (really, I’ve been lazy at blogging!).
我要介绍两个我最近参加的香港夜场会 (我最近真的太懒惰).

First, Nine Inch Nails put on a MEGA-CONCERT at the Asia World Expo a month ago. This is a concert with all of the lights and spectacle and, next to the Foo Fighters, has to be the loudest concert I’ve ever been to. It’s curious that the promoters decided to rent out such a large arena for something that probably would have been more cozy and fitting at a venue half it’s size. As opposed to the nihilistic, dark industrial sounds of NIN, [alive not dead] band “So What?” put on a peppy packed album debut show. Surrounded by adoring friends and fans and in a small, cozy venue, it was definitely a pleasure to see an all female band – backed up by some really talented male accompanists. Congrats to So What!
